EGLSF & Partners Launch Inclusion In Sport (iSPORT) Erasmus+ Sport project

Wednesday, February 24, 202 saw the launch of the Inclusion In Sport (iSPORT) project, which is a two-year project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. iSport Objectives The iSport Project will promote diversity and social inclusion in sport by bringing together partners from many sectors who traditionally face barriers to sport participation - women, LGBTQI+ community and people with disabilities. Bern successful in bid for 2023 EuroGames

      The EuroGames – a multisport event dedicated to diversity and inclusion– will take place in Bern from July 26th to 29th, 2023. Licensed by the EGLSF (European Gay and Lesbian Sport Federation), and voted by the General Assembly, the decision was announced this week. Bern Pride is to take place at the same time. EGLSF EuroGames – a strong future ahead

EGLSF is pleased to announce a strong future ahead for our annual European LGBTIQ multi-sport  tournament. At the Annual General Assembly this year in Budapest, contracts were signed with Dusseldorf, Germany and with Copenhagen, Denmark for EuroGames 2020 and 2021 respectively, and the Assembly voted the bid for the 2022 EuroGames in Nijmegen, Netherlands. Once a year the EGLSF celebrates a huge European gay sport event: EuroGames - a high-quality sport event for the LGBTIQ sports community. Queering Football European Networking Conference 17 – 18 November 2017

This 2-day conference in Ljubljana, organized by SPOLINT in association with VIDC, united players from international and national sporting organisations (including FIFA and UEFA), representatives from grassroots organisations, NGOs, clubs, professional athletes, activists in LGBT rights, academics and sports professionals – all with the goal of discussing homophobia in football, in anticipation of the FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia.
