LBTI*Women*Active
ABOUT THE PROJECT
The LBTI*Women*Active project, led by the EGLSF, aims to drive significant change in the inclusion and participation of LBTQI women in grassroots sport across Europe. As the project leader, EGLSF brings its extensive experience and commitment to promoting diversity and equality within the sporting community, spearheading a collaborative effort to build a more inclusive sports landscape for LBTQI women.
Over the next two years, the project will establish a strong network of LBTQI women athletes, leaders, and coaches, facilitating cross-border exchange and fostering new ideas for improving participation and inclusion in grassroots sport. With a focus on collaboration and innovation, LBTI*Women*Active will explore effective strategies to overcome the barriers LBTQI women face in sport and offer tangible opportunities for engagement through inclusive activities and awareness-raising events.
Through workshops, inclusive Eco-Activity Days, and a network of engaged LBTQI women in sport, this project will promote lasting change and ensure that LBTQI women are recognized, supported, and empowered to take an active role in the sports community across Europe.
