New board members are elected yearly at the Annual General Assembly, which usually takes place the 1st weekend of March. This year the meeting took place in Copenhagen and next year it will be held in Budapest.
New members are elected for a term of three years.
The board is seeking for people e.g. with communication and IT skills, knowledge of foreign languages (they must be fluent in English since all the internal communication is held in this language) and capacity to work for the Federation for an average of 5-10 hours per week minimum.
In case you or any members in your club are interested and would like to stand for election to any of the above mentioned positions, please email our general secretary, (email@example.com) indicating the post you would like to run for and enclosing a brief résumé and a letter of intention (all the information in maximum one page A4 format). Final date for applications will be announced later, but it's typically in January.
Please note that potential candidates must have been a member of an EGLSF member club for at least one year.
If you want to know more about the work that the Board is dealing with, do not hesitate to contact the general secretary (firstname.lastname@example.org) or any other member.
