Freedom Bike Ride 2016

A friend of mine and me, we got off on the Vyborg Station. About 240 km lied ahead of us. Four days of hard cycling and unpredictable weather. At that moment I realized that I challenged myself again. ‘I’m just an amateur. Why do I do it again?’ I thought. However, I knew that I could do it. A year ago I did it and reached Stockholm. Euro Pride House 2016

The EGLSF and FSGL are proud to be hosting a mobile Euro Pride House in France during the 2016 UEFA European Football Championships this summer.

Euro Pride House will play host to a range of sports, cultural and arts events, which share as a common theme our vision of breaking down the social and personal barriers, that discourage LGBTIQ people across Europe from participating and supporting football.

Successful Launch of the Pro Safe Sport toolkit in Rome

Monday, 4 May, 2015 saw the successful European launch of the Pro Safe Sport (PSS) toolkit to promote the well-being of young athletes in Rome, Italy. The two day conference underlined the importance of safe and healthy sport environments, so that sport continues to be attractive and popular to young athletes. The conference concluded that the Pro Safe Sport toolkit can be a very useful tool to achieve this goal.

Third PSS Workshop Discusses Normative Framework, Global Programmes, Anti-Doping, Gender Equality and Discrimination

Renowned experts debated with the PSS project team a broad range of topics during the third PSS workshop taking place from August 31 to September 2 in Berlin. On the agenda were issues such as the existing normative framework to protect young athletes, anti-doping, gender equality, discrimination and safeguarding measures for children implemented at global level.
