Save the date: AGA 2015 on 7-8 March, Krakow

EGLSF  is looking forward to meeting you all in Krakow, Poland, at our next Annual General Assembly. Please remember the dates, Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th March for the AGA, and we would like you all to be present on Friday 6th at the “Gender and Sexual Diversity in Sport” conference, organized by Krakersy, our member from Krakow who is also responsible for the assembly. ILGA Europe annual assembly report

As in previous years, EGLSF was present at the ILGA Europe annual assembly. Our federation is an ILGA member since 2013 and board members Christiana Daneva and Jon Landa held a workshop under the title Play the change: tackling discrimination in and through sports. In the frame of the ILGA Europe conference, under the title MOVEment: Leading Sustainable Change, we shown to attendants some of our members’ best practices, granted thanks to the Pride in Sports project. ‘Respect Diversity’ conference inspires change in European football

The 2014 UEFA ‘Respect Diversity’conference has drawn the attention of European football on issues of diversity and exclusion across the sport. The need to tackle racism and homophobia, give voice to minority groups, promote gender and ethnic diversity in leadership positions and empower players to be role models in fighting discrimination were all significant focus points for the 250 delegates last week. Third PSS Workshop Discusses Normative Framework, Global Programmes, Anti-Doping, Gender Equality and Discrimination

Renowned experts debated with the PSS project team a broad range of topics during the third PSS workshop taking place from August 31 to September 2 in Berlin. On the agenda were issues such as the existing normative framework to protect young athletes, anti-doping, gender equality, discrimination and safeguarding measures for children implemented at global level. The workshop was successfully concluded and produced excellent input for the PSS toolkit. New website EGLSF is live

The new website of the EGLSF is finaly live. Like with so many projects, this took us some more time that we expected, but we pulled it off! Since the end of July we soft launched our site. More than 1500 people already visited us and now it's time to go  fully live! The first bugs are solved, speed of the website increased a bit and some other 'live' issues has been resolved.
