Amsterdam, The Netherlands (October 2, 2021) – On October 1, 2021, the bid cycle deadline for #EuroGames 2024 and #EuroGames 2025 closed. EGLSF & Partners Launch Inclusion In Sport (iSPORT) Erasmus+ Sport project

Wednesday, February 24, 202 saw the launch of the Inclusion In Sport (iSPORT) project, which is a two-year project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. iSport Objectives The iSport Project will promote diversity and social inclusion in sport by bringing together partners from many sectors who traditionally face barriers to sport participation - women, LGBTQI+ community and people with disabilities. The project will promote equal opportunities and awareness of the importance of health-enhancing physical activity through increased participation in, and equal access to, sport for all these sectors. Bern successful in bid for 2023 EuroGames

      The EuroGames – a multisport event dedicated to diversity and inclusion– will take place in Bern from July 26th to 29th, 2023. Licensed by the EGLSF (European Gay and Lesbian Sport Federation), and voted by the General Assembly, the decision was announced this week. Bern Pride is to take place at the same time. At the end of July 2023, EuroGames will take place in Bern attracting up to 3,000 athletes. EGLSF at Women’s World Cup Football Diversity House

EGLSF hosted two events at the Diversity House in Paris – set up by the Fare network in Paris for the FIFA Women's World Cup. The first of these events was a panel discussion that explored how LGBT sports clubs and organisations provide a ground for empowering women through sport, and the subjects of homophobia and sexism in sport.
