During these 5 days in August over 250.000 visitors will take part in the overall programme, not the least the Opening Ceremony in Kungsträdgården or the Closing Ceremony at the Olympic Stockholm Stadium.

It is an honour to become the Official Ticket Partner to EuroGames Stockholm 2015 where Venuepoint will be able to support equality within sport, culture and politics as well as showcase all of our products and services for the registration, events, ceremonies and clubs during EuroGames Stockholm 2015, says Kasper Schumacher, CEO of VenuePoint.

In conjunction with the launch of this collaboration Veunepoint met with Jakob Jansson, President of EuroGames Stockholm 2015 for a quick Q&A:

How come you choose Venuepoint as Official Ticket Partner?

First of all VenuePoint really made the effort to become partner of EuroGames Stockholm 2015, financially as well as with all of its possible services. With such energy and strive as we saw and a combination with a great product they actually made the choice fairly easy. I think we share a modern way in how to work towards the greatest of events without losing the string vision for what we are trying to accomplish at the same time. I am looking forward to the greatness we hope to perform together.

When and how was EuroGames appointed to Stockholm as hosting city?

The EuroGames are licensed by the European Gay & Lesbian Sport Federation where Stockholm need to apply as hosting city, very similar as the procedures behind any official World Cup, World or Olympic Championship really. Together with a few initiators and a strong support by the Swedish Government, the Swedish Federation for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Rights as well as the City of Stockholm and all of its Administrations we really had a strong bid and won the license for 2015 now almost three years ago. This event will truly support human rights and equality as well as be a gigantic festive manifest at the same time.
