A Smashing Time in Amsterdam!

Last June was a month full of celebrations for our member club Smashing Pink. For the 25th time the annual international Pinkster Tournament was organised by a group of enthusiastic volunteers. With about 400 participants the Pinkster Tournament is still Europe's largest LGBTIQ-tennis event. After it's 4th edition in 1996, the first European gay & lesbian tennis club Smashing Pink was founded. EGLSF launch first ever Euro Pride House for the UEFA Women’s Euro, Utrecht 2017

Sunday 16th July, saw the historic moment when the EGLSF organised the first ever Euro Pride House for a women’s European football championships. This project initiative is under the “Erasmus+ project, “Queering Football”. The event took place at the Bodytalk bar in Utrecht, the radiant and vibrant heart of the Netherlands. EGLSF Attend ENGSO EU Seminar

In 2015, the EGLSF signed a Memorandum of Understanding with European Non-Governmental Sports Organisation (ENGSO), the objective of which is to strengthen the partnership between the two organizations, and work together in activities and projects promoting grassroots sport in Europe, with a special focus on tackling discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. EGLSF Member, Danny Watts, to speak at #CALLITOUT

FiFPro European Congress Malta 16th-17th May 2017

The FIFPro World Players Union gathered in Malta to attend FIFPro European Congress. In total there were 37 players unions in attendance, which proved to be a very productive 2 days. During the congress, which was held between the 16th and 17th of May, FIFPro European Division President Bobby Barnes took the scene to address his thoughts.
