Human rights conference: Conference United against homophobia in sport

EGLSF is proud to present the programme of the International Conference "United Against Homophobia in Sports"; The contribution of Policy-makers, Researchers and Sport Movements. EGLSF is co-organising this major event with the EPAS, and in co-operation with Utrecht University/School of Governance, Movisie and the Mulier Institute. EGLSF Funding Programme: Small Grants Programme 2012

Preventing & Fighting Homophobic Violence & Intolerance in Sport – Pride in Sport: Good Practice Development Second Round opens 5th September 2012 The EGLSF Board is pleased to announce a new initiative to support the development of inspirational local projects amongst EGLSF members and other interested sports organisations. Call for submissions: Fact sheets for sports governing bodies

THE OPPORTUNITY TO CHANGE THE LIVES OF LGBT SPORTS MEN AND WOMEN Following the presentation at the Annual General Assembly of the European Gay & Lesbian Sport Federation in March in Split, the EGLSF Board would like to give more information about one of the projects funded by the EU commission. EGLSF has been funded by the European Commission to put together good practice guidance on LGBT inclusion and the prevention of discrimination and prejudice based on gender expression and sexuality. Football activity: FARE Action Week 2012

This year's FARE Action week on the theme of "Football people" is taking place between October 16-31, 2012. To help organise grassroots events, FARE is able to offer small grants of a maximum of 400 Euros for activities that take place during the Action Weeks period or beyond for LGBT communities. The activities we are able to support include the production of campaigning materials (banners, flyers, fanzines, posters, t-shirts, stickers), the production of fan choreographies and flags, the organisation of stadium actions and community days and football- related intercultural events such as special matches, debates or tournaments. Conference: Homophobia in the Stadium
