The GAME for Inclusion Europe sub-granting call received an enthusiastic response from across the EGLSF community, resulting in the selection of nine grassroots projects from member clubs in eight European countries. The SAFE (Safeguarding Approaches Focusing on Grassroots Sport Environment) project, which is funded by the Erasmus+ program in the field of sport, officially launched in January 2026. It is led by the European Non-Governmental Sports Organisation (ENGSO), with partners from across Europe, including the European Gay & Lesbian Sport Federation (EGLSF), and with different expertise in safeguarding, inclusion, and grassroots sport.
