The French Premier League authorities (Ligue de Football professionnel - LFP) and Paris Foot Gay (PFG) will unite their efforts on May 17th for the World Day against homophobia. Australian Matthew Mitcham, the winner of the 10-metre platform at the Beijing Olympics, said last week that his decision to talk openly about being gay may have prevented him from getting the proper sponsorship deals. The international Federation of Gay Games (FGG) announced that it had received completed bid documents from groups in Boston, Massachusetts, Cleveland, Ohio, and Washington, DC competing (all US)A for hosting Gay Games IX in 2014.
