The EGLSF condemn homophobic abuse aimed at Cristiano Ronaldo

[photo youtube] During a recent match against Atletico, the Real Madrid striker clashed heads with opposing team midfielder Koke after he reportedly hurled a homophobic slur towards him, for which both players were given a yellow card. Spanish radio station Cadena Cope, who claim to have overheard a conversation where Ronaldo recounted what had happened on the pitch to his teammates, report that Koke called him a “faggot”. Olympic training for the swimmers of Nat Utrecht

Nat Utrecht swim club in The Netherlands will celebrate it's 20 year anniversary next September 2017, but in anticipation to mark the occasion the club has pulled out all the stops for the coming year. Already there has been a reunion of past members, and they have held their annual club championships which was a great success. EGLSF attend Football Pride Week

From the 05 – 09 October 2016, football fans  hosted an international conference on homophobia in football. The EGLSF was represented by John Ryan and Sarah Townsend. The much-discussed coming out of an active professional footballer is still pending. Fans are often seen as the main problem in this process. ILGA Conference 2016

From 19 - 22 October the 20th ILGA Europe Conference took place in Nicosia Cyprus. Our board member Diana van den Born travelled down to most South-Eastern part of Europe to attend the conference and the Annual General Meeting of ILGA Europe. Brussels Gay Sports Celebrate 25 years!

Brussels Gay Sports, or BGS, started in 1991 as a group of friends who played volleyball. Since then it has grown and it is now – 25 years later – an association of more than 750 members. Badminton, body conditioning, capoeira, futsal, hiking, pilates, running, swimming, tango dancing, tennis, volleyball, yoga and water polo. Those are the sports BGS has on offer.
