The 18th ENGSO Forum took place in Brussels on 11-12 September 2015 within the framework of the European Week of Sport (EWoS), namely on the EWoS focus day dedicated to sport clubs. European sport issues were tackled: this time, the role of sport clubs in activating citizens and accommodating to changing societies. Next to widening the participants& knowledge, the Forum also provided a platform for interaction and exchange among ENGSO member organisations, partners and decision-makers, giving an informative and inspiring atmosphere to the event. Team Limerick is one the newest members to the EGLSF and we would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the team. Limerick is a city with a deep-rooted sporting heritage, and one with a vibrant LGBT community. In 2013, Limerick emerged as one of the three finalists vying for the chance to host the 2018 Gay Games alongside Paris and London. Last year in Blackpool we became European Latin American Same Sex Dance Champions. This year in Stockholm we were ready to defend our title, but knew we had tough competition ahead of us. Dancing in the Winter Gardens in Blackpool is something magical. What Wimbledon is for tennis players is Blackpool for dancers. Winning a title for the first time is one thing, to repeat that is even more difficult.
