Homophobia: Tackling José Mourinho on homophobia

The European Gay and Lesbian Sports Federation (EGLSF) today called on UEFA to take action against José Mourinho for comments in which he referred to match officials as “maricones” (“faggots” in English). The comments were made by the Real Madrid coach prior to their Champion’s League tie against CSKA Moscow. The comments were captured on film, which was later shown on the Spanish television channel Quatro. EuroGames: EuroGames 2015 Bidding Opened

The bidding procedure for the 15th EuroGames 2015 is open. The General Assembly of the European Gay & Lesbian Sport Federation (EGLSF) decided this year in Frankfurt that in 2015 there will be a large scale Eurogames. This means that at least 14 sports must be offered, and the capacity of participants must exceed 3,000 athletes. EGLSF is recruiting a suitably qualified and experienced individual, to work on a consultancy basis for two years to develop key projects in Central & Eastern Europe.
