The 2nd Phase of the online survey GAY FOOTBALLERS ... APPRECIATED OR UNWELCOME is available. Nearly 2,000 fans, players, managers, coaches and referees have participated in the research so far, and you are invited to share your views and opinions on gay footballers and explain why you think only one top professional player in history has openly declared his homosexuality during his playing career. International Campaign: Day against homophobia in football survey

In response to the massive interest shown in the Football v Homophobia initiative set up by The Justin Campaign this year, the organisation has decided to create an online survey as part of a global consultation process ahead of the 2011 event. Olympic LGBT salute: London Olympics with Pride

After the ice was broken at the Winter Olympics 2010 in Vancouver with the Rainbow house, the organisers of the Summer Olympic Games in London are counting on LGBT fanbase. The London Olympics are officially targeting LGBT community with their marketing efforts. At the London Pride and in their online shop they have begun selling commemorative Olympic badges supporting the gay community. Currently there are two badges available, featuring the rainbow flag and London 2012 logo - London 2012 Olympic and London 2012 Paralympic rainbow pride pin badge. GGVIII: A month to go until Gay Games Cologne

More than 9000 registrations already received; participants are coming from more than 70 countries to Cologne. The Rhein Energie Stadium is the venue for the spectacular opening ceremony. The central venues during the games are the villages in the city centre on Neumarkt and Rudolfplatz. In one month the Gay Games VIII Cologne 2010 will commence. The German foreign minister Dr. Guido Westerwelle (FDP) will officially open the largest sporting and cultural event in the world in the Rhein Energie Stadium on July 31st. EuroGames 2012 Host City : EGLSF supports Budapest Pride

Saturday 10 July 2010 is the date of the Budapest Pride. You may also be aware that earlier this year Hungary elected a new Government. This makes support for Budapest 2012 EuroGames more crucial than ever. In solidarity with the Budapest 2012 Organisers and the LGBT people of Hungary, representatives from EGLSF Board, including the female Co-President of EGLSF Louise Englefield, will be travelling to Budapest for this year's Budapest Pride.
