EGLSF leads campaign against discrimination with Pride In Sport

The official timeframe of the ‘Pride In Sport’ project, led by the European Gay and Lesbian Sport Federation (EGLSF), has officially concluded. The project is aimed at preventing and fighting homophobic violence and discrimination in sport and has been funded as part of the European Commission’s preparatory actions in the field of sport. Sport and LGBTIQ Youth: Call for partners for international project

Orbita Diversa (Madrid, Spain) is looking for LGBTIQ organizations, informal groups of young people and sport organizations as partners of "Out and Healthy - A TC on sport and promotion of healthier lifestyles within the LGBTIQ youth". The project will be applied to Youth in Action Programme of European Commission for May 1st deadline. Out and Healthy  is a 6-days training course on sport and LGBTIQ health to develop communication tools, information materials and inclusion of young LGBTIQ people. The new Marseille FrontRunners Website

FrontRunners Marseille (FRM) founded in 2002 is the only LGBT sport association in Marseille. Their association is aimed to facilitate the integration of LGBT persons within the community of Marseille. « Let’s play sports together against discrimination » FRM is open to everyone, female/male, LGBT or not LGBT, athletes or supporters, and strives for the equality between men and women. Human rights conference: Conference United against homophobia in sport

EGLSF is proud to present the programme of the International Conference "United Against Homophobia in Sports"; The contribution of Policy-makers, Researchers and Sport Movements. EGLSF is co-organising this major event with the EPAS, and in co-operation with Utrecht University/School of Governance, Movisie and the Mulier Institute. EGLSF Funding Programme: Small Grants Programme 2012

Preventing & Fighting Homophobic Violence & Intolerance in Sport – Pride in Sport: Good Practice Development Second Round opens 5th September 2012 The EGLSF Board is pleased to announce a new initiative to support the development of inspirational local projects amongst EGLSF members and other interested sports organisations.
