EuroGames Barcelona 2008: Registration opens in November

EuroGames Barcelona 2008 will open on-line registration in November 2008. There will be 27 sports, a wide cultural program, a great inauguration and closing ceremony, as well as an international conference on "Sports and Homophobia". You will find all budgets accommodation in our website, from where you can make your reservation. Registration for the EuroGames costs €55 for EGLSF member clubs and €66 for all others. Early Death: Farewell to Ivan Bussens

Ivan Bussens, one of the key figures driving gay sporting clubs to prominence in London during the past decade, died after a yearlong fight against cancer on August 27. He was 47. Bussens battled a form of lymphoma into remission last year then suffered a relapse during the past few months. He died at St. Bartholomew's Hospital in London with his partner of 26 years, Peter Unsworth, by his side. The newsletter contains the report on FGG’s 25th Anniversary and the announcement of the 2007 annual meeting, which will take place in San Francisco, USA from October 24 to 29, 2007.
