PLUSS Final Meeting in Zagreb: Reflecting, Learning and Looking Ahead

From 16 to 18 January 2026, the partners of the Erasmus+ Sport project +PLUSS – LGBTQI+ Policy and Leadership in Sport and Society, led by the European Gay & Lesbian Sport Federation (EGLSF), gathered in Zagreb for the project’s final transnational meeting. Kick-Off Meeting Launches the European Observatory on LGBTIQ+ Hate Speech in Sport

On 28 November 2025, partners from across Europe officially launched EOLHSS, the European Observatory on LGBTIQ+ Hate Speech in Sport, during an online kick-off meeting. Empowering Youth Workers Through Erasmus+ Mobility in 2025

In 2025, EGLSF implemented two Erasmus+ mobility projects, “Mindful Steps to Inclusion” in Spain and “Bridging, Breaking Barriers” in Morocco, involving nearly 60 youth workers from Europe and beyond. Both initiatives addressed growing challenges around exclusion, gender inequality, and hate speech, with a shared goal of strengthening youth workers’ capacity to support marginalised young people and foster inclusive communities. Reflecting on the outcomes of the PLUSS Webinars

As part of the Erasmus+ project ‘PLUSS: LGBTQI+ Policy and Leadership in Sport and Society’, led by EGLSF, two online webinars were recently held to facilitate knowledge sharing and discussions on LGBTQI+ inclusion in sport.
