The Football v Homophobia campaign and the FARE network announce an international fans conference on homophobia and the LGBT presence in football. The conference will take place in Manchester on Saturday 17th August 2013 and bring together fans and campaigners to look at issues of discrimination against LGBT people in football and those initiatives which celebrate the involvement of LGBT fans. Friday 17 May 2013, the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHO) sees the official release of a brand new Football gaming app for mobile devices onto the market. Designed with an emphasis on fun and to challenge the skills of 11-16 year old gamers and other users, ‘UpFront’ also carries an important message – “Discrimination in sport is wrong”.
