 About the project and the data collection The main objective of the LBTI+ Women in Sport: Research & Outcomes (WSRO) project was to start creating research data to reflect the situation regarding participation and visibility of LBTI+ women in sport, as individuals, and through their participation in mainstream and in LGBTIQ+ sports organisations, promoting equality and European values in and through sport by highlighting the needs, barriers, and challenges that they are presented with. LBTQI*Women*Active Workshop and EcoActivity Participation in Valencia

Partners of the LBTQI*Women*Active project participated in the final dissemination workshop of the project Women in Sport : Research & Outcomes hosted at the Novotel Conference Centre, Valencia, Spain on 25th October 2025 by the Federation of Gay Games. The EuroGames: Reflecting on Three Unforgettable Years

Our introduction to the EuroGames in 2023 wasn’t the most straightforward. We’d both been selected to play for Scotland in floorball, we were training hard and counting down the days until we would fly out to Bern with our team. WSRO project results presented at the Gay Games AGA

  The data analysis results of the European Erasmus+ project “LBTI women in Sport - Research & Outcomes” (WSRO) were presented for the first time at the Annual General Assembly of the Federation of Gay Games in Valencia on 25th October. In addition we got together with the LBTI*Women*Active project in a meeting and FLINTA EcoActivity sport day!
