World Outgames 2009: Cheaper registration for Copenhagen

This weekend, the Outgames organisers are offering all European athletes a 20 % discount on the registration fee for World Outgames Copenhagen 2009. European Gay and Lesbian Sport Federation - EGLSF - is celebrating its 20 years anniversary this year and World Outgames Copenhagen 2009 wants to congratulate EGLSF and honour the people behind this European network, namely the European athletes. Gay Games 2014: 2014 FGG Finalists

The international Federation of Gay Games (FGG) announced that it had received completed bid documents from groups in Boston, Massachusetts, Cleveland, Ohio, and Washington, DC competing (all US)A for hosting Gay Games IX in 2014. Anniversary event: EGLSF AGA 2009 and BB3 Conference

42 ordinary members, an associated member and 7 extraordinary members participated in the 20th anniversary EGLSF Annual General Assembly on March 7-8 in the Hague. Our guests included representatives from FGG and GLISA, Football against Racism in Europe, Norwegian Olympic and Paraolympic Committee, and following international LGBT sport associations: Gay and Lesbian Rowing Federation, International Gay and Lesbian Aquatics, International Gay and Lesbian Football Association and International Gay and Lesbian Field Hockey Federation. Football & FARE: Unite Against Racism conference

‘Football is a wonderful thing!’ are the words of legendary footballer and fervent anti racist campaigner, Lilian Thuram, as he addressed the ‘Unite Against Racism’ conference in Warsaw today.
