 About the project and the data collection The main objective of the LBTI+ Women in Sport: Research & Outcomes (WSRO) project was to start creating research data to reflect the situation regarding participation and visibility of LBTI+ women in sport, as individuals, and through their participation in mainstream and in LGBTIQ+ sports organisations, promoting equality and European values in and through sport by highlighting the needs, barriers, and challenges that they are presented with.   The data analysis results of the European Erasmus+ project “LBTI women in Sport - Research & Outcomes” (WSRO) were presented for the first time at the Annual General Assembly of the Federation of Gay Games in Valencia on 25th October. In addition we got together with the LBTI*Women*Active project in a meeting and FLINTA EcoActivity sport day! Partners of the European Erasmus+ project “LBTI women in Sport - Research & Outcomes” (WSRO) were present from 5-10 August at the Olympics 2024 in Paris conducting a survey to understand the situation of women in sport across Europe. We conducted surveys at several sites in Paris including the Rosa Bonheur sur Seine which hosted the Pride House, ELLES Bar, Les Aimant·e·s and La Mutinerie where we talked with many LBTI women and collected an amazing number of responses.
