Saturday 10 July 2010 is the date of the Budapest Pride. You may also be aware that earlier this year Hungary elected a new Government. This makes support for Budapest 2012 EuroGames more crucial than ever. In solidarity with the Budapest 2012 Organisers and the LGBT people of Hungary, representatives from EGLSF Board, including the female Co-President of EGLSF Louise Englefield, will be travelling to Budapest for this year's Budapest Pride. If the parade goes ahead, we will march under the EGLSF Banner, carrying the message of fair play, tolerance and safety in sports for everyone.
We would like to invite you, EGLSF member clubs to send representatives to march with us in Budapest on 10 July. We would like to encourage clubs to bring their own club banners, showing that Budapest EuroGames has support from throughout Europe.
If you are interested in marching with us, please email us at louise@eglsf.info for more information as we progress our arrangements.
