Host elections

We are looking for a host for the AGA in 2026. If you are interested, please contact general.secretary@eglsf.info.

EuroGames host for 2028 games will not be elected at the AGA since there are no candidates. Bidding cycle might open again this spring, depending on what the AGA decides.

Vacant board  & committee positions

Previously we had already announced the open co-president positions. Due to a board member, Vera-Linn Langängen, and general secretary, Erika Patrikainen resigning (in order to apply for another position), we have the following positions available:

  • Co-president (female)
  • Co-president (male)
  • General secretary (non-male)
  • Board member at large (non-male)

Please note that positions general secretary and board member at large are primarily opened to non-male identifying candidates due to motion about board composition which passed in AGA 2024. The motion states:

3 positions on the board must be reserved for non male-identifying representation
3 positions on the board must be reserved for non female-identifying representation
2 positions can be flexible to ensure the working capacity of the Board.

In the case that this representation is not achieved, at 14h00 on the day before the voting opens,
open candidatures, irrespective of SOGESI, can be accepted. In this way a full board can be achieved,
should the assembly decide that this is necessary.

Note! In case there are no candidates with the requested gender profile, the position will be open for anyone to apply. This means everyone can already send their applications. We will let you know latest after Friday 28th 14:00 if your application will be set forward for the elections.  Please state clearly in your application if you are applying the position as female, male non-female or non-male identifying.

Also our Legal Advisory and Cash Control Committee members are elected at the AGA, so if you are interested in applying for any of these positions, please send your resume and a letter of motivation to general.secretary@eglsf.info.
