About the blog
Over the 35+ years that EGLSF has existed, we have celebrated more than 20 editions of EuroGames, done advocacy work on several fronts, grown our networks with other (LGBTIQ+) organisations and activists and lead and contributed to scientific research and community building projects. That means there's a lot of expertise and experts within our community. We would like to give visibility to those people, to hear about and get inspired by their journeys, their opinions and the knowledge they have about the subjects that concern us today.
In 2025, equality, inclusion, gender and Prides are being banned and discussed actively. Sports bodies are frequently taking discriminative actions against TIN athletes. Coming out as an top athlete is still a piece of news. - It's time to contribute to the public discussion with our experiences, fact based point of views and to offer alternative approaches to organise sports. Together with you we aim for a safer, healthier and more sustainable world for everyone.
