+PLUSS

LGBTQI+ Policy and Leadership in Sport and Society (+PLUSS) enhanced the inclusion and participation of athletes with diverse sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions, and sex characteristics in European grassroots sport by combating discrimination & addressing intolerance against sex- and gender-diverse athletes and by establishing an inclusive sport culture where all can participate.

Project deliverables are divided into three sections:

• Research report with an illustrated story of the roots and future of LGBTIQ+ sport in Europe
• Guidelines for LGBTIQ+ and mainstream sports organisers for building inclusive and sustainable sport communities
• Policy paper with a set of recommendations for policymakers and sport authorities
