Why Become
an EGLSF Member?
By becoming a Member of the European network of more than 150 gay and lesbian sport groups under the umbrella of the European Gay & Lesbian Sport Federation:
- your club can decide on the host for the next EuroGames;
- your club members will get a reduction on the registration fee for EuroGames;
- you get a subscription to our members mailinglist;
- your club will receive our network Newsletter;
- you can promote your events in our media and events;
- you meet the representatives of our members at the Annual Assembly and discuss and decide on important topics in LGBTIQ sport.
Annual General Assembly
The following meeting will be in March 2027 in Hamburg, Germany. All our members are invited to join on 5 - 7 March 2027 to a Conference on Friday and to the AGA on Saturday and Sunday. Our host this year is Startschuss Queer Sport Hamburg e.V. Information about the agenda, registration, outreach and other useful information will be posted closer to the event. Stay tuned!

Governing rules
of the Federation
We are a European-wide organisation for the pursuit of:
- open and active participation of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Queer and those with non-binary identities in the sporting world;
- the protection of their sporting rights: rights of access, equal participation, equitable share in sport governance and representation;
- the fight against discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and sex characteristics (SOGIESC)
- the strengthening and empowering of the sporting communities in its widest sense and in its diversity including Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex and Queer (LGBTIQ)
- the promotion and development of sporting opportunities and the wellbeing of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Queer and non-binary communities.

Memberships and fees
Regular Membership
Open to registered and non-registered clubs and groups with natural persons as affiliated members as well as federations and umbrella associations of only European registered and non-registered clubs, which are active in the field of sport and which accept, abide by and comply with the mission statement of the association.
Membership fees per calendar year
| 1-24 members | € 3 per affiliated member, min. € 35 |
| 25 - 49 members | € 75 per organisation |
| 50 - 74 members | € 100 per organisation |
| 75 - 99 members | € 130 per organisation |
| 100 - 149 members | € 160 per organisation |
| 150 - 199 members | € 190 per organisation |
| 200 or more members | € 1 per affiliated member, max. € 650 |

Note: Associate Members are not eligible for the EuroGames discount.
