+PLUSS CAPACITY BUILDING ON EVENTS AND GOVERNANCE

Under the project +PLUSS “LGBTQI+ Policy and Leadership in Sport and Society”, funded by the Erasmus+ sport program, a site visit for fellow LGBTQI+ sport club leaders has been hosted by Out in Slovenia in Ljubljana (Slovenia) on February 16th-18h, 2024 in order to facilitate knowledge sharing and build a community of European leaders. 17 participants from #PLUSS partners and visiting club leaders had the chance to understand the ways of working, in particular related to growth/sustainability of the club and to advocating for LGBTQI+ rights in wider society. WRSO : LBTI Women in Sport

Research & Outcomes kick off meeting On February 7th, partners of this project, funded by the Erasmus+ programme of European Union, met to launch the project, discuss objectives, first meeting dates and roles and responsibilities. Valencia Gay Games 2026

València will host the Gay Games in 2026, an event held every four years that promotes equality, diversity and inclusion through sport and culture. Its basic principles are participation, inclusion and personal best performance. International Conference on Gender Equality in Sport – EU Presidency Spain
