We are proud and excited to welcome you back in Gent, Belgium for the Auricula Open 2014. During the weekend of the 21st-22nd November, Gent will welcome again athletes from around Europe to join Auricula’s 2014 Gay and Lesbian Open International badminton tournament.
As per last year, we will be offering men’s and ladies’ doubles badminton in levels A, B+, B-, C+ and C-. Mixed teams are also most welcome, and can join in the men’s competition. Plus for those without a playing partner, blind dates can also be arranged.
They say “Never change a winning team”, so we are using the same venue as last year in the heart of the historic city for the evening entertainment on the Saturday night. The party promises to provide a great social evening with an excellent buffet, drinks and music.
So note down the dates for your diaries, and we hope to see you again or for the first time, at our most friendly of badminton tournaments in the heart of East Flanders.
Tournament program:
• Friday 21st November (7-11 PM): Registration @ Apluss. A cosy and chilled gathering in the heart of the city, allowing you to meet the other participants over a drink. We offer a free welcome drink to each participant!
• Saturday 22nd November (9 AM): Tournament @ Sports hall Neptunus. Let the GA(Y)MES begin and explore that inner competitive beast!
• Saturday evening dinner & party @ Apluss from 7:00 PM -… Stuff yourself and dance your tits off!
