Board positions

The Board is already preparing the next Annual General Assembly, which will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark on the 3rd & 4th March 2018. So save the date and don’t miss it!

We would also like to remind you that there will be elections for board positions in 2018. We will have to elect three board positions. The vacant positions are co-president and two board member at large positions, of which must be of differing genders. New members are elected for a term of three years. The co-president position is open to those who identify as a differing gender to female.

The board is seeking for people with communication and IT skills, knowledge of foreign languages (they must be fluent in English since all the internal communication is held in this language) and capacity to work for the Federation for an average of 5-10 hours per week minimum.

In case you or any members in your club are interested and would like to stand for election to any of the above mentioned positions, please email our general secretary, John Ryan (general.secretary@eglsf.info) indicating the post you would like to run for and enclosing a brief résumé and a letter of intention (all the information in maximum one page A4 format), before the 20th of January 2018 (so we can enclose the biddings in the AGA papers).

Please note that potential candidates must have been a member of an EGLSF member club for at least one year.

If you want to know more about the work that the Board is dealing with, do not hesitate to contact the general secretary (general.secretary@eglsf.info) or any other member.
